Kiteboard Saipan

IKO Certified Instructors

Our kiteboard instructors are IKO certified and have extensive training in kiteboarding and kiteboard instruction. When you take a course from us, you can be confident that your lessons will be taught in accordance with internationally recognized standards for safety and professionalism.

 Peter

Peter moved to Saipan in 2008. At the time, there were only a handful of kiteboarders on the island and no one was teaching. After taking a discovery course in the Philippines, Peter came back and spent the next several years kiteboarding as much as possible. In 2017, he became certified as an IKO Level 1 Instructor and has been teaching ever since.

Don

Don

Don first landed on Saipan in 1987 and has been working and playing in and on Saipan’s crystal clear waters since ever since. He started kiteboarding in Bali in 2006 with an IKO lesson package and can remember every minute as if it were yesterday. His second checked bag is usually a couple of kites and a kiteboard. Don received his IKO Instructor Level I in 2017 at PROKITE South Padre Texas. Always the waterman; Don has found kite instruction to be his new passion.

Our mission is to safely teach you to kiteboard in the least amount of time possible. We are constantly thinking of new ways of making the learning process easy and safe for you, the student. Find out more about our course offereings by clicking here

Safety

We make sure that you are learning in a safe environment with the latest kiteboarding equipment. We use inflatable, single leading edge ("SLE") kites for teaching because of their extreme depower and safety features. We also provide students with personal flotation aids whenever they enter the water, and our instructors are certified in First Aid & CPR.

About Saipan

Saipan is the largest island in the Northern Mariana Islands, located about 120 miles from Guam and about a 4 hour flight west of the Philippines. Our kiteboarding season starts around December and lasts through March to early May. We have warm tropical water and warm weather year round. If you're coming to kite, please feel free to get in touch so we can show you around.
